  • SOFA - Can import Excel. Has more help to select the right test. Best for standard analses and charts.  .
    • Has standard plus Box Plots, Pie Charts, Line graphs, and Area Charts
  • JASP - Jamovi was a spinoff from this long-time favorite with many Bayesean analyses. 
    • Standard+Extra, plus Box Plot, Violin Plot, Mixed ANOVA, MANCOVA, CFA, Robust Tests, and more 
  • PSPP - SPSS look-alike does basic statistics. 
    • Standard+Extra plus: Binary Logistic Regression, K-Means Clustering,  Kolmogorov-Smirnov Tests
    • Extra Features: Data preparation tools like Compute, Recode, Count, and Filter Cases. 

Online Calculators

 Paste in your data or summary statistics, also provides explanations. Great option for data in Excel.

  • Stats Kingdom
    • Standard, plus additional fit tests, sample size calculators, and Regressions including multinomial logistic. 
    • Lots of explanations, assumption calculations,and graphs, though it can be a bit much.
    • For some tests, it gives a writeup in APA style, though the wording could be improved.
    • Also gives R code that should produce the same results.
  • Social Science Statistics
    • Standard, plus confidence intervals, linear and multiple regressions, and additional correlation tests.
