Our Collections

The University Libraries aim to build world-class collections that reflect, serve, and are accessible to the Mason community. The Libraries’ collections currently include: 

  • More than 1.4 million electronic books and 1 million print books.

  • Over 900 online databases of scholarly research information.

  • Over 160,000 full-text e-journals and conference proceedings. 

  • Streaming media and physical DVDs.

  • Government documents, maps, microfiche and microfilm.

  • Rare books and manuscript collections at our Special Collections Resource Center.
