Omeka S

Learn how to use Omeka S for your research project

Order your pages

From the dashboard, click on the sites tab on the left hand side of the dashboard.

You will be redirected to a list of all the sites in the Omeka install. Click the pencil icon located next to your class's site to edit the site.

You will be redirected to another page where you are able to edit the title, URL, and summary of the site. Do not edit anything on this page. Instead, click on the navigation tab on the left hand side of the dashboard.

This is the navigation tab of the site. If you checked the add to navigation box when creating a new page, you do not need to do the next step because your pages will already appear in the middle pane. Skip to the paragraph that begins Drag and drop your pages...

If you did not check the add to navigation box when creating a new page, you will need to add your pages to the navigation to be able to order them appropriately. On the right hand side of the page, under add a link to a site page, click the plus sign next to your pages. Those pages will then be added to the middle pane.

Drag and drop your pages to go under exhibits. Then drag and drop your subpages to go under your title page.

Click save in the upper right hand corner when you're done.
