Drying Seeds for Return to the Library

While drying and returning seeds isn't required to use the seed library, it's fairly easy, helps keep the seed library stocked, and encourages sustainability in making sure those seeds from your plant don't go to waste!

Donation Criteria

  • Label your donations! At the very least, what type of plant they are (i.e. cherry tomato, basil, snap peas)
  • Make sure the seeds are in a sealed container, packet, or pouch so they don't spill out
  • No bulbs or tubers are being accepted at the moment (aka tulips or potatoes)
  • Make sure all seeds are dried. Seeds that are not fully dry or are wet can attract pests and spoil quickly
