Navigating the Library as an International Student

This guide introduces international students to how they can use the University Libraries resources and services.

Find Books at Mason

Still can't find the item? Use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) to request books, media and articles from other libraries when they are not available at Mason or the WRLC. Start your research early if you want to take advantage of this wonderful service as it can take up to 2 weeks.

Locating Call Numbers at the Library

The University Libraries organize our books using the Library of Congress classification system. Each book has a call number you use to locate the book on our shelves. After identifying the book you need, write down the call number, and its library location (Fenwick, Mason Square, etc). You are allowed to pickup the books directly from our book shelves and bring them to the circulation desk for checkout.
