ERIC Reduction

As part of United States government reduction work, the $5.5M annual budget for the online database ERIC has been cut by 49% according to the Federal Procurement Data System. An article released by the Hechinger Report indicates that existing content will not be removed or deleted from ERIC, but the number of new articles and reports added to the database will be reduced.

Please note this change in ERIC’s indexing does not impact your access to the database. However, the indexed content of ERIC is expected to change. This guide will be updated on which content will no longer be indexed as more information is released by the Department of Education.
