Welcome to the Conservation Biology InfoGuide.
Use this guide to discover Conservation Biology resources available to you at Mason.
Threats to the biodiversity of our environment are ever-evolving. To counter these threats and protect our endangered species, the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute (SCBI) and George Mason University established the Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation (SMSC).
Watch students talk about the program at SMSC.
At the Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation, students in this one minute video talk about their classroom being the outdoors, the supportive community, and the professional practices they learn during their semester in the field. They are taught by prominent conservationists, researchers, educators, and Mother Nature herself.
