The wonder and tragedy of research

We Love Everything!

A wondrous, and unfortunate, reality of Conflict Resolution is that we are sometimes called... interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, or even transdisciplinary.  What that means, in a nutshell, is that we draw upon a wide range of other fields' in order to do our work.  This includes ALL of the Social Sciences, and ALL of the Humanities, and also the STEM fields as well!

We can find conflict everywhere.  And this means where to look becomes a much more challenging thing.

Also, think about your topic, what fields are likely to be most interested in the situation at hand.  Geography and GIS systems may not seem like the most conflict-driven areas until one thinks of how often large groups of people have contention over maps, and not just on boundaries.  And that's just one example!

When in doubt, ask your Librarian!
