Course Reserves

A definitive guide on GMU Libraries Course Reserve services for students and faculty.

Submitting Review Copies of Dissertations / Theses for Reserve

Some programs require their graduate students to submit a review copy of their dissertation/thesis to be placed on course reserve for viewing as part of their defense. Starting in August 22nd 2022, Course Reserves will no longer be accepting physical copies and will instead be streamlining the process electronically.

How to Submit:

  • All review copies must have the permission form in order for it to be placed on reserve.
  • All Review Copies must be emailed to ereserve@gmu.edu with the following subject line: Review Copy Submission-Dissertation/Thesis
  • Once received and processed, the Reserves Team will email you a link to the Review Copy Reserve E-Shelf that you can circulate to those attending your defense where they will be able to view an electronic copy.
    • Additionally, the review copy can be accessed by visiting the Review E-Shelf tab on this InfoGuide.
