Founded in 2003, the CSA is the largest network of cultural studies scholars, educators, practitioners, artists, and activists in the United States.
Holds an international annual conference in the spring.
Has working groups including: Black and Race Studies, Crip Cultures/Critical Disability Studies, Critical Feminist and Queer Studies, Critical Pedagogies, Culture and War, Environment, Film Studies, Globalization and Culture, New Media and Digital Culture, Music and Sound Studies, Performance, Space and Place, Visual Culture.

Department of Music, Art and Culture Studies at University of Jyväskylä, Finland.
Organizes the Crossroads in Cultural Studies conference.

As well as staging some of Australia’s most interesting and cross-disciplinary humanities conferences, the CSAA hosts a range of on-line and print activities through the year.

Formed in 2024 in Hong Kong. The Inter-Asia Cultural Studies (IACS) Society Conference is held every two years. In the past, conferences have been held in Ahmedabad, Dumaguete, Seoul, Singapore, Surabaya, and other locations in Asia.

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education. Each year MeCCSA holds a conference which attracts around 200 delegates internationally.
