The International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation offering four highly respected programs of international education that develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills needed to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. Schools must be authorized, by the IB organization, to offer any of the programs. Listed below are resources related to IB:
A change has been made to the IBEC candidate enrollment process. It should significantly reduce the delay between enrollment and receiving access to the IB programme resource centre and programme communities.
Now, students and faculty who do not already have a My IB account will create their own using the “New User?” link on the My IB Login page.
NOTE to IBEC students: Creating an account in My IB does not automatically grant access to the programme resource centre and the programme communities. Someone from the IBO team will confirm access after the My IB account is created. Due to the volume of candidates, this can take up to a week.
The university contact is still responsible for sending a completed list of students with student email addresses in the New Candidate Enrollment Table. The email address in the table must match the one used by the student, otherwise the IB cannot provide access.
NOTE to faculty: Faculty who need access to these IB systems should follow the steps above to create an account for My IB. They should then confirm their role at the university through this web form: Faculty at IB-recognized universities.
