Requesting Book Chapters and Articles

Students studying abroad or in S-CAR's dual MA/MS program with the University of Malta are able request book chapters and journal articles from the University Libraries through the document delivery service.  For items not owned by Mason, you can place an interlibrary loan request. Library policy does not permit the shipping of books internationally.

There are some limitations in requesting book chapters.  Due to copyright restrictions, the libraries are only able to provide one chapter of a single book (or 10%) through document delivery.

To request a book chapter or article please visit: https://gmu.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/VGM/logon.html

Login using your Mason username and password.  The first time you log in to this service, you will be required to fill out contact information and identify your academic status at GMU.  After submitting this form, use the options on the left hand side of the screen to make your requests.

For GMU/University of Malta students: Enter your status as "Distance Education Graduate" and pickup location as "Arlington." When making your request you will be required to identify your course name/number and provide your Mason G-Number.
