AHA Annual Survey Database is a comprehensive census of United States hospitals based on the AHA Annual Survey of Hospitals. Survey data can be downloaded for analysis in Excel, SaS and other statistical software packages. Limited years available to Mason students, staff and faculty.

SAGE Research Methods and Cases Online This link opens in a new window
Provides an overview of research methods (quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods) across the social and behavioral sciences. Includes SAGE book and reference material on research methods, and editorially selected material from SAGE journals. Also includes a searchable collection of case studies of real social research, commissioned and designed to help users understand abstract methodological concepts in practice.

Data Services

Located in the Digital Scholarship Center (DiSC), Data Services helps you find, access, and use statistical, geospatial and qualitative data as well as related software. Data Services staff instructs and consults on data discovery, acquisition and use, data management and data management plans, GIS, methodology, and more.

Research Assistance
- Research consultations are available by appointment.
- Pre-project meetings identify resources, software, and more for your project.
Lab Hours
- The lab is open and staffed as scheduled.
- Supported and installed software includes: SPSS, Stata, SAS, R/R-Studio, ArcGIS, QGIS, NVivo, Tableau, and more.
Workshops are offered as scheduled.
Data management planning, archiving and preservation of final research data services are offered.
